* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Eastern Lauderdale County in northwestern Alabama... * WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 429 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Florence, Killen, Lexington, St. Florian, Underwood- Petersville, Anderson, Center Star, Green Hill, Kingtown, Elgin, Whitehead and Zip City. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
