West Central Madison County in north central Alabama... * Until 1000 PM CDT. * At 701 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across North Huntsville, Northwest Huntsville, and between Madison and West Huntsville. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen in the last 30 minutes, and additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible through 8 or 9 PM. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
