THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 602 IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT THURSDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ARKANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN EASTERN ARKANSAS LAWRENCE RANDOLPH IN NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS BAXTER FULTON IZARD SHARP THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ASH FLAT, ATTICA, CALICO ROCK, CAVE CITY, CHEROKEE VILLAGE, HARDY, HORSESHOE BEND, HOXIE, MAMMOTH SPRING, MELBOURNE, MOUNTAIN HOME, OXFORD, POCAHONTAS, AND WALNUT RIDGE.
