...FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE ASPEN ACRES BURN SCAR REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR EASTERN CUSTER AND SOUTHWESTERN PUEBLO COUNTIES... At 400 PM MDT, Emergency response officials reported flood waters have receded in the Beulah area but flooding continues along the lower reaches of the North St Charles River downstream of the Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Middle, Squirrel Creek and North St Charles River through Beulah. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding in and around the Aspen Acres Burn Scar.
