* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Georgia, including the following counties, Ben Hill, Irwin and Turner. * WHEN...Until 130 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1116 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen and rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour could lead to additional flooding across the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ashburn, Worth, Sycamore, Rebecca, Arp, Irwinville Airport, Amboy, Abba and Turner Co Airport. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
