THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 590 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN GEORGIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 15 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA DAWSON FANNIN GILMER LUMPKIN PICKENS UNION IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA TOWNS WHITE IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA CATOOSA CHATTOOGA DADE GORDON MURRAY WALKER WHITFIELD THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BLAIRSVILLE, BLUE RIDGE, CALHOUN, CHATSWORTH, CLEVELAND, COHUTTA WILDERNESS, COLWELL, DAHLONEGA, DALTON, DAWSONVILLE, DIAL, ELLIJAY, EPWORTH, FORT OGLETHORPE, HEMP, HIAWASSEE, HIGDON, JASPER, LAFAYETTE, SUMMERVILLE, AND TRENTON.
