* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southern Kane County in northeastern Illinois... Northern Kendall County in northeastern Illinois... * WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1154 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated up to 1.5 inches of rain occurred due to earlier thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall has moved out of the area, but some standing water may be slow to recede over the next few hours. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Aurora, Oswego, Batavia, Geneva, Yorkville, Plano, Montgomery, North Aurora, Sugar Grove, Boulder Hill, Elburn, Big Rock, Kaneville, Bristol and Little Rock. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
