* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of central and west central Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois, Peoria and Stark. In west central Illinois, Knox. * WHEN...Until 245 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1145 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Galesburg, Wyoming, Toulon, Abingdon, Knoxville, Osceola, Wataga, Bradford, Oneida, Williamsfield, Altona, Elmira, Victoria, Maquon, Henderson, La Fayette, Rio, Elmore, Laura and Castleton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
