At 334 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Rising Sun, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Covington, Florence, Independence, Erlanger, Edgewood, Alexandria, Elsmere, Taylor Mill, Fort Wright, Lawrenceburg, Aurora, Walton, Crestview Hills, Lakeside Park, Rising Sun, Oakbrook, Burlington, Union, Crittenden, and Warsaw. This includes the following Interstates... I-71 in Kentucky between mile markers 61 and 77. I-75 in Kentucky between mile markers 167 and 184.
