Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/iln. * WHERE...West Fork of Whitewater River at Alpine. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, This stage will exceed the FEMA 1 percent flood. Flooding occurs along the river in southern Fayette and northern Franklin Counties, including in Alpine, Nulltown and Laurel. In Connersville, homes between Dora Avenue and the river on the east side of Connersville flood, as well as along Grand Avenue on the south side. Structures flooded in Laurel are mainly along and east of North Franklin Street, with homes south of Commerce Street also flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.0 feet just after midnight tonight.
