Significant rainfall has fallen over the last 24 hours with radar estimated totals of 4 to 10 inches with a major portion of that falling this afternoon. Of note, 3hr annual return intervals have been up to 200 years or more across the warned area this afternoon. While the heavy rainfall has subsided, it is likely that low water crossings, fields, and small streams will remain flooded through the remainder of the afternoon. * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana, including the following counties, Cass IN, Fulton IN, Grant, La Porte, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski, Starke, Wabash and White. * WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT /430 PM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
