THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 541 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN IOWA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 12 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA BENTON CEDAR IOWA JOHNSON JONES LINN MUSCATINE IN NORTHEAST IOWA BUCHANAN DELAWARE IN SOUTHEAST IOWA KEOKUK LOUISA WASHINGTON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ANAMOSA, CEDAR RAPIDS, INDEPENDENCE, IOWA CITY, MANCHESTER, MARENGO, MUSCATINE, SIGOURNEY, TIPTON, VINTON, WAPELLO, AND WASHINGTON.
