At 802 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles east of Kit Carson to 4 miles north of Weskan to 11 miles south of Wallace, and are nearly stationary. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Mesonet. At 751 MDT, a 59 mph gust was recorded by a mesonet site half a mile west-southwest of Firstview, Colorado. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Cheyenne Wells, Sharon Springs, Weskan, Wallace, Firstview, and Arapahoe. This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 182.
