THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 564 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON IN KENTUCKY THIS WATCH INCLUDES 13 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY ELLIOTT MENIFEE IN NORTHEAST KENTUCKY JOHNSON MARTIN IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY BREATHITT FLOYD KNOTT LETCHER MAGOFFIN MORGAN PERRY PIKE WOLFE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF CAMPTON, COAL RUN, ELKHORN CITY, FRENCHBURG, HAZARD, HINDMAN, INEZ, JACKSON, JENKINS, PAINTSVILLE, PIKEVILLE, PIPPA PASSES, PRESTONSBURG, SALYERSVILLE, SANDY HOOK, SOUTH WILLIAMSON, WEST LIBERTY, WHEELWRIGHT, AND WHITESBURG.
