* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, in south central Kentucky, Rockcastle. In southeast Kentucky, Jackson. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mount Vernon, Boone, Wildie, Roundstone, Renfro Valley, Muellersville, Lake Linville, Hummel, Hiatt, Conway, Orlando, Burr, Bummer, Flat Rock, Dudley Station, Snider, Maretburg, Wellhope, Disputanta and Spiro.
