THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 640 IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CDT WEDNESDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN IOWA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST IOWA BUENA VISTA CLAY DICKINSON O'BRIEN OSCEOLA IN MINNESOTA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA COTTONWOOD JACKSON NOBLES THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ARNOLDS PARK, HARTLEY, JACKSON, LAKEFIELD, MILFORD, MOUNTAIN LAKE, SANBORN, SHELDON, SIBLEY, SPENCER, SPIRIT LAKE, STORM LAKE, WINDOM, AND WORTHINGTON.
