THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 593 IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN MINNESOTA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 11 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA BENTON KANDIYOHI MEEKER MORRISON STEARNS TODD IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA CHIPPEWA DOUGLAS POPE STEVENS SWIFT THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALEXANDRIA, BENSON, GLENWOOD, LITCHFIELD, LITTLE FALLS, LONG PRAIRIE, MONTEVIDEO, MORRIS, SAUK RAPIDS, ST CLOUD, AND WILLMAR.
