THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 606 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT IN MISSISSIPPI THIS WATCH INCLUDES 9 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI SIMPSON SMITH IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI CLARKE JASPER LAUDERDALE NEWTON IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI JEFFERSON DAVIS IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI COVINGTON JONES THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BASSFIELD, BAY SPRINGS, COLLINS, CONEHATTA, DECATUR, HEIDELBERG, LAUREL, MAGEE, MENDENHALL, MERIDIAN, MOUNT OLIVE, NEWTON, PRENTISS, QUITMAN, RALEIGH, SHUBUTA, STONEWALL, TAYLORSVILLE, AND UNION.
