At 745 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 2 miles east of Gross, or 7 miles south of Pickstown, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Spencer, Butte, Gross, Anoka, Parshall Bridge State Wildlife Management Area, and Hull Lake State Wildlife Management Area. This includes the following highways... Highway 281 between mile markers 210 and 223. Highway 12 between mile markers 111 and 129.
