THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 579 IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT THURSDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NEBRASKA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL NEBRASKA GREELEY HOWARD SHERMAN VALLEY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA BUFFALO DAWSON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF COZAD, GOTHENBURG, GREELEY, KEARNEY, LEXINGTON, LITCHFIELD, LOUP CITY, ORD, SCOTIA, SHERMAN RESERVOIR, SPALDING, ST. PAUL, WILLOW ISLAND, AND WOLBACH.
