At 149 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 12 miles southwest of Naper to near Bassett to 10 miles south of Ainsworth, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. These severe storms will be near... Newport around 155 AM CDT. Stuart around 200 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Hofeld Lake, Nets Peak, Mariaville, Pony Lake, Dustin, Pine Glen State Wildlife Refuge, Jones Lake, Mills, Brocksburg, and Twin Lakes State Wildlife Management Area. This includes the following highways... Highway 183 between mile markers 159 and 199. Highway 20 between mile markers 241 and 281. Highway 12 between mile markers 67 and 101. Highway 7 between mile markers 26 and 55.
