* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall earlier this evening remains in spots. * WHERE...Portions of Niagara County, including Lockport and Shawnee. * WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1047 PM EDT, local law enforcement continued to report flooded roads and basements near Lockport and Shawnee due to earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... North Tonawanda, Lockport, Newfane, Middleport, Sanborn, Wilson, Barker, Gasport, Appleton, Olcott, Rapids, Cambria Center, Pendleton Center, Wolcottsville and Ransomville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
