* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following counties, eastern Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester. * WHEN...Until 515 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 214 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain capable of causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 1/2 and 1 inch of rain has fallen in spots. - Some locations that could experience flooding include... New City, Peekskill, Monsey, Nanuet, Haverstraw, Suffern, Mahopac, Lake Carmel, West Point, Sloatsburg, Cold Spring, Pearl River, Carmel, Pomona, Fahnestock State Park, Spring Valley, Stony Point, Jefferson Valley, Patterson and Putnam Valley. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
