* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Ohio, including the following counties, in north central Ohio, Erie. In northwest Ohio, Sandusky. * WHEN...Until 430 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1231 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sandusky, Northern Milan, Castalia, Berlin Heights, Bay View, Sandusky South, Bloomingville, Fairview Lanes, Whites Landing and Vickery. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
