ESFSJU The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Dolly, located nearly 1200 miles southeast of the local islands. The official forecast calls for Dolly to degenerate into a tropical wave before reaching the area on Sunday and Monday. Since the system is expected to find a hostile environment, a widespread and long-lasting rainfall event is not anticipated. Instead, squally weather will bring periods of moderate to locally heavy rainfall, beginning late Sunday and stretching into Monday. In general, we are anticipating rainfall accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, which will be beneficial for any areas receiving the rain. Lingering moisture from the remnants of Dolly could contribute to additional showers developing on Tuesday. The risk of flooding is low to locally medium. Areas with the drainage system clogged by death vegetation debris or urbanized areas with poor drainage could experience localized flooding. Any rainfall will be welcome, and could bring a t
