THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 573 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING IN IOWA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST IOWA BUENA VISTA CHEROKEE PLYMOUTH IN WEST CENTRAL IOWA IDA WOODBURY IN SOUTH DAKOTA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA UNION THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALCESTER, BATTLE CREEK, BERESFORD, CHEROKEE, ELK POINT, HOLSTEIN, IDA GROVE, JEFFERSON, LE MARS, NORTH SIOUX CITY, SIOUX CITY, AND STORM LAKE.
