THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 627 IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN THE PANHANDLE OF TEXAS BRISCOE CASTRO CHILDRESS HALL SWISHER THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF CHILDRESS, DIMMITT, HAPPY, HART, KIRKLAND, MEMPHIS, QUITAQUE, SILVERTON, TULIA, AND TURKEY.
