* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Madison County in north central Alabama... * WHEN...Until 1245 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 942 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges measured 2 to 3" of rainfall in about half an hour earlier this evening, with rainfall totals between 3-4" estimated in portions of Northern and Western Huntsville. Local creeks in the city rose several feet in an hour as a result. Indian Creek at Madison also rose 4 feet during this time, and it continues to slowly rise. Indian Creek should crest between 7 and 8 feet around or after midnight, and slowly fall through sunrise. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
