* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The island of Molokai in Maui County... * WHEN...Until 745 PM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 428 PM HST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated areas of heavy rain moving into the eastern half of Molokai. Water levels have risen again within Kawela Gulch from the rainfall upstream and rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1.5 inches per hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area, which may impact portions of Kamehameha V Highway near Kawela Gulch. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ualapue, Kamalo, Pukoo, Kalaupapa National Park, Kawela, Halawa Valley, Kaunakakai and Kualapuu.
