At 1212 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm with a history of producing tornadoes was located near Seneca, or 10 miles southeast of Marseilles, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern La Salle and southwestern Grundy Counties, including the following locations... Kinsman, Ransom, and Verona.
