FFWILX The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern De Witt County in central Illinois... Southeastern McLean County in central Illinois... Northeastern Piatt County in central Illinois... Northern Champaign County in east central Illinois... * Until 515 PM CDT. * At 206 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen since 1230 pm with the heaviest rainfall from Bloomington-Normal southeast to Saybrook and Ellsworth. Street flooding was observed over parts of Normal and Bloomington especially Willow street near ISU campus. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area southeast of Bloomington. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
