* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, in south central Kentucky, Laurel, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley. In southeast Kentucky, Clay, Jackson, Knox and Owsley. * WHEN...Until 1115 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 804 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Somerset, London, Manchester, Science Hill, Burnside, Bernstadt, Bunch, Wood Creek Lake, Hare, Carmichael, Pittsburg, East Bernstadt, Billows, Hightop, Hazel Patch, Sublimity City, Luner, Camp Wildcat, London-Corbin
