* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Missouri, including the following counties, Howell, Oregon and Shannon. * WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1106 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... Warm Fork Spring River at County Road 323, Whites Creek at Highway K, Frederick Creek at Highway A, Hurricane Creek at Highway U and Piney Creek at County Road 228. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Alton, Thomasville, Greer, Couch, Wilderness and Rover. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
