* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...West Central Carteret County in eastern North Carolina... Southeastern Craven County in eastern North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 742 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Havelock, Morehead City, Newport, North River, Harlowe, Wildwood, North Harlowe, Michael J Smith Airport, Crab Point Village and Mitchell Village. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
