* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Beaufort County in southeastern South Carolina... Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina... Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 954 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from Wiggins and Bennetts Point to Edisto Island with lighter rainfall extending up into lower Charleston County. As much as 2 to 4 inches of rain have fallen in this area this evening. An additional 1 to 2 inches could fall through 1145 PM. A risk for minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas continues. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beaufort, Edisto Beach, Johns Island, James Island, Folly Beach, Seabrook Island, Kiawah Island, Rockville, Bennetts Point and Edisto Island.
