Dorchester County in southeastern South Carolina... * Until 1030 PM EDT. * At 854 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall approaching the North Charleston Area. A quick 1 to 2 inches of additional rainfall could occur with this activity. Emergency management officials report flood conditions have improved greatly since earlier this evening.
