What Floods at Each Level

19 ft

Near record flooding occurs in the woodlands and fields downstream from the Starrs Mill Dam to Line Creek. Most of Starrs Mill Park will be under 7 to 9 feet of water. The flood waters will surround the mill and be around two feet deep in the mill. The water will be around one foot deep in the building next to the mill and submerge the USGS gage house. A loss of data transmission will be likely. This will be similar to the July 1994 flood event due Tropical Storm Alberto.

18 ft

Major flooding continues with widespread inundation flooding in the woodlands and fields downstream from the Starrs Mill Dam to Line Creek. Most of Starrs Mill Park will be under 6 to 8 feet of water. The flood waters will surround the mill and be around one foot deep in the mill.
