Something broken?
Tell me about it.

StormCast is built and maintained by one person in Giles County, Virginia. Bug reports and feature ideas go straight to me — not a ticket queue, not a chatbot. Every message gets read.

Not getting alerts?

Most missed-alert reports come down to battery optimization killing the app in the background. In the app, check Settings → Background Activity is set to unrestricted, and that notifications are enabled for StormCast in your Android settings. If that's already right, definitely write in — that's a real bug worth chasing.

Alert was late or never arrived?

Tell me your location and roughly when it happened. StormCast polls the NWS feed every 30 seconds, so a missing alert is traceable — but only if I know where and when to look.

Wrong river gauge reading?

Include the gauge name. Readings come straight from USGS and NWS, so a wrong number is usually a federal sensor issue rather than an app bug — but some gauges genuinely have no live sensor, and I can confirm which case it is.

Is there an iOS version?

Not yet — it's on the roadmap. There's a waitlist on the home page if you want to be told when it lands.
