Delete your account
Deleting your account permanently removes all data associated with your StormCast profile — saved locations, river gauge subscriptions, push notification settings, and your email address. This cannot be undone.
Delete from within the app

01Open the StormCast app on your Android device.

02Tap the menu icon and go to Settings.
Menu → Settings -
03Scroll down to your profile card and tap Delete account at the bottom.

04Confirm the deletion in the dialog. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Request deletion by email
Processed within 30 days
If you can’t access the app, send a deletion request from the email address associated with your StormCast account. Include your email address in the message so we can verify and process your request.

What gets deleted
All data removed within 30 days
- Your email address and account credentials
- All saved locations and travel alert areas
- River gauge subscriptions and alert thresholds
- Custom local emergency alert feed URLs
- Push notification preferences and FCM device token
- Scanner stream URLs you have added
- Any other data linked to your account
Location data sent to weather APIs during active use is not stored on our servers and is not subject to deletion. See our privacy policy for full details.
