Major Flood Stage. Two feet of inundation from flood waters on Pt Reyes-Petaluma Road, and several additional feet of inundation of local floodplain properties, particularly on east side of channel. Travel through the area likely impossible and highly dangerous.

Moderate Flood Stage. Water levels reach Pt Reyes-Petaluma Road near gage and inundate local landowner driveways and crossings. Travel difficult and dangerous on local roadways.

Minor Flood Stage. Backwatering of local private landowner crossings near gage occurring, and minor floodplain inundation on private property east of the channel. NWS will issue a Flash Flood Warning if not yet already issued.

Monitor Stage. Minor flooding may begin in isolated locations on floodplain, particularly on the east side of the channel. Water is roughly 2-3 feet below backwater conditions at local private crossings near the gage. NWS will issue a Flash Flood Watch if not yet already issued.
