This is a major, life-threatening flood especially in the steep canyon immediately downstream of Green Mountain Reservoir. There is widespread inundation of low lying properties along the Blue River with extensive flooding of roads and bridges along and crossing the river.
Moderate flooding will be especially dangerous in the steep canyon immediately downstream of Green Mountain Reservoir. Buildings near the river flood. Debris damming on the upriver side of bridges may result in flooding of bridge approaches.
Ranchlands flood and structures begin to flood along the Blue River below Green Mountain Reservoir.
Low lying areas flood along the Blue River below Green Mountain Reservoir.
Without mitigation, water begins to impact low lying areas along the river.
