Catastrophic Flooding in Destin. The west side approach to the US-98 bridge is impassable. The approach to the Mid Bay Bridge is impassable. Much of Destin Harbor experiences considerable inundation. Flooding extends up to one half mile inland along Choctawhatchee Bay between Indian Bayou and the Mid Bay Bridge. Areas near East Pass along Choctawhatchee Bay eastward to Beach Drive experience significant inundation.

Many structures along Choctawhatchee Bay are flooded, with considerable inundation along Beach Drive westward to Kelly Street and areas from Indian Bayou eastward to the Mid Bay Bridge. The approach road surface to the Mid Bay Bridge begins to flood at this level.

Considerable Flooding in Destin. The west approach to the US-98 bridge begins to flood at this level. Access to USCG Station Destin becomes cut off. Numerous residences around Destin Harbor flood. Water overtops from both the harbor and beachfront impacting homes on either side of Gulf Shore Drive. Structure flooding expands along Choctawhatchee Bay between Beach Drive and Cross Street. Homes from Indian Bayou eastward to the Mid Bay Bridge are impacted by flood waters.

Flooding expands beyond Beach Drive, with numerous homes flooded. Flooding worsens from Country Club Drive West to the Mid Bay Bridge with residences along Choctawhatchee Bay flooding.
