What Floods at Each Level

Flooding of historic proportions along the Matanzas River. Water reaches the approach to the State Road 312 bridge on the west bank of the river. Homes west of A1A are either flooded or isolated by deep flood waters. Along the east bank of the river, flooding expands further inland from Alcala River to San Remo Road. In St. Augustine South, Shore Drive is impassible, with homes west of the road beginning to flood.

Catastrophic flooding along the Matanzas River south of State Road 312. Many residences along the east bank of the river west of A1A are either impacted or isolated by flood waters. Some residential areas experience 2 to 3 feet of flooding. Along the west bank of the Matanzas River, flooding worsens and expands inland along Alcala Drive. Water begins to flood Shore Drive in St. Augustine South.

Several residences along the east bank of the river west of A1A continue to flood, some becoming isolated, especially near the Mizell Outfall as well as around Marsh Point Circle. Flooding worsens considerably around Marsh Creek Country Club. Along the west bank of the Matanzas River, flooding worsens along Shore Drive and expands inland along Alcala Drive.

On the west bank of the river, flooding along Shore Drive expands, with water moving toward homes adjacent to the Matanzas River. Flooding significantly impacts the Douglas Crane Park and Boat Ramp.
