What floods at each level

• 12 ft

  Flooding of historic proportions along the Bay County Coast and in Panama City Beach. Water moving through breaks in the dune line is likely to flood Front Beach Road in numerous places. Some structures along the beach near these dune breaks will flood. Extreme beach erosion due to wave action is expected.

• 9 ft

  Catastrophic flooding along the Bay County Coast and in Panama City Beach. US-98 floods near the Bay/Walton County line. Dune line breaks will lead to flooding of some structures immediately on the beach and approach Front Beach Road. Considerable erosion is likely due to wave action.

• 6 ft

  Significant flooding along the Bay County Coast and in Panama City Beach. Water continues to flood through beach access areas. Significant erosion of dunes are likely due to wave action.

• 5 ft

  Near Powell Lake at the Bay/Walton County line, water begins to surround elevated structures on both sides of the lake. On the beachfront near Pinnacle Point, structures west of Sandy Shore Drive will be surrounded by water. Pinnacle Point floods at this level. Erosion and wave action becomes severe along the Bay County Beaches. Overwash may begin to affect parking areas and low spots on the coast.

• 4 ft

  At the Walton/Bay County line, flooding expands into Powell Lake. On the Gulf side, Parkshore Drive near Pinnacle Point begins to flood. Erosion from wave action increases along the Bay County Beaches. Overwash may begin to affect parking areas and low spots on the coast.

• 3 ft

  Water begins to flood low lying areas in Camp Helen State Park and on south facing portions of Powell Lake in Bay County. Areas near beach access continue to flood. Erosion from wave action begins along the Bay County Beaches.

• 2.2 ft

  Where breaks in the dune line to beach access exist, water begins to flood access areas from Inlet Beach to St Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach.

• 1.7 ft

  Water reaches the dune line in several places along the Bay County Beaches.
