Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding occurs in the woodlands and fields along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on U.S. Highway 27. The park and athletic fields will be completely flooded with up to 7 feet of water on the downstream and right bank side of the bridge. Some of the structures in the park will be flooded with 3 to 5 feet of water. Portions of Grove Road...Sewerage Plant Road and Georgia Highway 34 on the north side of Franklin will begin to flood.

The park and athletic fields will be flooded with up to 6 feet of water on the downstream and right bank side of the bridge.
