Water will begin to flood several roads in the old downtown area of Newton on the west bank of the Flint River. Roads flooded include Main Street, Sunset Avenue, and Broad Avenue near the courthouse. These roads are also known as Old 91, Old 200, and Old 37, respectively.
In Newton, Water Street at Washington Avenue begin to flood. Water approaches Riverside Drive.
Minor lowland flooding begins.
