The water level hits the bridge which forms an obstacle and acts like a dam causing some backwater and erosion eddies to the sides. Flood waters begin to flow over the road. County officials will close the bridge and road.

  Widespread significant flooding continues to expand further into the woodlands...pasture and fields near the creek...upstream and downstream from the gage on Smyrna Ramhurst Road. The water level hits the bridge which forms an obstacle and acts like a dam causing some backwater and erosion eddies to the sides. County officials will close the bridge to the public.

  Moderate flooding begins. Widespread flooding expands further into the woodlands...pasture and fields near the creek...upstream and downstream from the gage on Smyrna Ramhurst Road. The water reaches the bottom of the bridge which begins to form an obstacle and act like a dam causing some backwater and erosion eddies to the sides of the bridge. County officials may close or restrict access to the bridge.
