Flood waters will top the Great Southwest Parkway bridge and the road will be under 4 feet of water. County officials will have the road closed. Numerous commerical buildings near the creek will be flooded with up to 3 feet of water. This flooding will be similar to September 2009.

• 25 ft

  Major flooding begins with widespread inundation of the industrial park complex along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Great Southwest Parkway. Flood waters will top the Great Southwest Parkway bridge and the road will be under a foot of water. County officials will have it closed. Several commerical buildings near the creek will begin to flood.

• 24 ft

  Significant flooding expands further into the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Great Southwest Parkway. The Great Southwest Parkway bridge begins to form an obstacle and act like a dam causing some backwater and erosion eddies to the sides of the bridge. County officials will likely have it closed. The water level will begin to flood the road and some industrial park buildings near the creek.

• 22 ft

  Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding occurs in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Great Southwest Parkway. The water level will reach the bottom Great Southwest Parkway bridge and county official may close it. This would impact the industrial park complex in this area.

• 20 ft

  Minor flooding continues to expand further into the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Great Southwest Parkway.

• 18 ft

  Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding begins in the woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Great Southwest Parkway.

• 16 ft

  Bankfull conditions are reached along the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Great Southwest Parkway.
