Water at the bottom of Tippecanoe CR 800 S bridge over Little Wea Creek. Stream is extensively flooded on both sides. Nearby homes are on high ground and are not directly flooded.
Much of Little Wea Creek in the vicinity of Tippecanoe CR 800 S is overflowing its banks.
Little Wea Creek flooding on the east side of the stream just north of Tippecanoe CR 800 S. Using this as an indicator site...following a sharp 4 foot rise in less than 2 hours from heavy rains early May 1...2009 to this level...flooding of Tippecanoe CR 1075 S near US 52 and portions of SR 28 between US 52 and US 231 occurred. Heavy rain must be occurring in all of southern Tippecanoe County for this to be possible.
