• 30.6 ft

  The USGS river gage housing becomes inundated.

• 21 ft

  By the time flood waters reach the gaging site downstream, about 7 hour lag time, it is possible Paradise would already had street flooding on Main Street and possible evacuations. (Flash flooding 16 May 2021 at 1 pm. 5 inches of rain fell upstream in Natoma.)

• 20.5 ft

  Areas of pasture land and low spots in fields will flood. The creek may expand to 100 feet wide.

• 18 ft

  Many low water crossings on county roads will flood in the vicinity of the creek.

• 15.8 ft

  Sections along Paradise Road flood near the creek. Nearly all bridges that cross the creek will see water touching their girders including at the gage site.

• 14 ft

  The intersection of county roads at Paradise Road and 183rd Street flood. This flooded intersection is about 2 miles southeast of the city of Paradise or 3 miles northwest of the river gage site.
